The present report focuses on the legal and practical aspects of state-related transparency, corruption and accountability in the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI). Despite growing awareness in Iranian society of these core themes of our report, there is a significant gap in the analytical literature on these topics. Our report aims to fill this gap by providing a concise yet analytical overview of the fundamental questions of transparency and corruption in relation to the Iranian state.
